Eleri B. Jones
Originally from the North West, Eleri is based in Wrexham. She also has bases in London, Cardiff and the North West.
About Eleri
Eleri is a Welsh multi-arts director working across TV, Film and Theatre with a passion for discovering untold stories, platforming unheard voices, and creating positive, collaborative environments where other creatives can flourish. She particularly enjoys stories that blur the lines between fiction and reality, and finding dynamic, imaginative ways to tell them.
Collaboration is at the heart of her work, and the collaboration with producers, designers, DPs and other creatives is integral to her creative process from the beginning. Having trained and worked for more than 10 years as an actor herself, Eleri speaks the same language as actors, and is able to help guide them towards nuanced and explosive performances as a result. Whether working on set or in a rehearsal room, equality, diversity and representation are central to her process of assembling teams and deciding which voices should shape the work.
Eleri has recently directed the Wrecsam 2029 City of Culture bid film, starring Mark Lewis Jones, Aerona Shi and Ian Puleston-Davies.
Eleri is currently in post-production for Ffilm Cymru/BFI Network funded short film 'To Be Here', produced by Chloé Huybens and written by Carys Thomas.
She is also set to direct more episodes of Channel 4 continuing drama Hollyoaks in 2026, building on the 22 episodes she has directed since her success on the Directors UK, Lime Pictures and Stage Directors UK Scheme in 2023.
